Six fields and one log line

First name, last name, phone number, the concrete service you want, a description of the job, and an email address you may leave blank. That is the form. The description is free text, and whatever lands in it, a street, a gate width, a note about a slope, is kept with the rest. The server adds one line per page served, holding the IP address, the browser, the page and the time. No account is created and no mailing list is joined.

What each record is for

The form entry is for calling you back within 1 business day, booking the visit and writing the estimate Kenji Okamoto hands you at the property. If the pour goes ahead, the same entry becomes the job record, with the address, the base, the thickness and the pour date, because that record settles a guarantee claim years later. The server log is for keeping the site up and spotting abuse. Neither is sold or used to advertise.

Who reads the record

Kenji Okamoto, who measures and writes the estimate, and the crew booked for your pour. Beyond the business, the entry passes through the company that hosts this website and the companies that carry our email, calls and texts, each acting on our instructions. When a permit is filed, the address and the scope go to the City of Torrance on the application. A public authority gets information only where the law requires. No one buys it.

No cookies and no banner

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no advertising or tracking script, so there is no banner to accept and nothing here reports where you came from or where you go next. Three kinds of link leave the site. The button to the map of our office on Hawthorne Boulevard, the links beside the reviews to the platforms they were left on, and the links to the City of Torrance. From there the other site's policy applies.

When a record is deleted

A form entry that never becomes a job is deleted 6 months after the last message about it, long enough to sit out the rainy weeks of winter and decide in spring. A job record is kept for 10 years from the day of the pour, because that is the time California gives a homeowner to bring a claim over a hidden defect in construction, and the record is what a claim is judged against. The server log is cleared every 30 days.

What California lets you ask

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act a resident of the state may ask what a business has collected about them and have it deleted, and here that takes one call or one email to the office, answered within 1 business day. The same call or email corrects a wrong number or a misspelled name. Reply STOP to any text message and no more are sent. Say on a call that you want no further calls and the number is marked that day.

Minors and the form

This website and the concrete work it describes are for adults who own or manage a property in the South Bay, and nothing on it is written for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a form entry turns out to have come from a minor, it is deleted with every detail in it, no visit is booked, the sender is not contacted again, and where a parent asks, we confirm in writing that it is gone.

Where this policy changes

Here, and nowhere else. This page carries the current policy, the date in its opening paragraph is the date of that version, and it changes when the site or the way a record is handled changes.
