The office is at 21250 Hawthorne Blvd, on the boulevard that runs the whole length of the city from the Lawndale line to the foot of the Palos Verdes hills, a short drive from the Del Amo Fashion Center. It is a unit for paperwork, forms and a saw rather than a showroom, and the truck is gone from it by seven most mornings. The crew lives in Torrance and the towns that touch it.

Most of a week is spent inside the city or in the towns that share its borders. Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach are west toward the sand, Lomita is southeast down Pacific Coast Highway, Gardena and Lawndale are north of the 405, and Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes climb the hill above Walteria.
